Chance

Hello everybody,

Here is (blurry) picture of Chance on the backseat of the Honda. George and I are taking her home now. The laparscopie operation went well. They told us that after the operation we had t wait for 1,5 hour before we could take her home but after half an hour she was awake alread. So we received a phonecal that she was ready to go home. You could see she was dizzy when she walked towards us. But when she saw me her taill was in the air. She was happy to see us again I think.

She has to recover today and tomorrow she can jump and play again But.... No swimming for a week.

Goodbye Sonja Bakker

Hello Everybody,

Cyn, her mom and I were doing our groceryshopping in Kranenburg, Germany when we saw the candy above

GOODBYE SONJA BAKKER haha. I prefer enjoying these than your theory.

Cheers,

Joyce

Looking for a job

Hello everybody,

Today it's Monday. My second official workless day. Friday was the first and on that day I got a phonecall where in they told me they weren't giving me the job at Quantore. They don't know what they are missing. I felt like shit on Friday but now I am all over it. They don't deserve me... Right?

On Friday and today I send 2 other mails about a vacancy and I hope they will reply soon. For the one on Friday (Sligro in Haps) I've got a confirmation of my mail already. For today's mail I did not hear a thing yet. But it's only a few minutes ago since I send this one. Why takes waiting so much time? The vacancy of today is about a helping drivers with loading, their papers and stuff like that. I did that already for 2 years at Talke Nederland and at DHL I prepared the papers for the drivers, but I did not have contact with them. But well, it's what I really like to do so I so hope they want me to have a conversation with them. I am keeping my ers crossed.

I have to leave soon. Cyn smsed me if I wanted to come to Laco so we can go to AH for grocery shopping for today. We need to eat something tonight right.

I will be back.

With love

Jadzia dax

Yesterday evening, everything was fine. I was watching Star Trek Deep Space 9, season 6. Until I came at the last epi. I knew it was coming and still I wasn't prepared for it. Gul Dukat killed Jadzia Dax. Well actually it wasn't Dukat himself but still it was his body the bad guy used (don't know his name. I would say "pha wrat" but that's wrong. Gonna look it up). There is always 1 character you like the most and why do my favorite characters always end up dead. Don't tell anybody but I even let a tear fall down because of it. Poor Worf. It was all so sad.

Well... I guess I am an addicted freak of star trek now. I cry because people die and people die all the time. Not that I cry all the time but hey... She was special (in star trek DS9). Haha. Ok serious. I do not cry all the time when people die. Only when it's in a scene so sad that it makes my cry. The last thing Dax said was to Worf: our kids would have been beautiful. That's so sweet.....

Ok people I found it, it's called a "Pah Wraith".

Well I guess this was the last time I saw Jadzia Dax alive. I hope I do like the new Dax. And I can always watch back the other episodes (not the one where she dies). Ok... I am a star trek freak... I know that now. How the hell did that happen.

Bye bye!

Cynni's birthday - 11th of May 2009

Hello everybody,

The story continues here. I left you all on Sunday afternoon and it starts here on Monday morning. Today is Cyn her birthday. She will be an old, old, old, sexy lady... haha. Sorry. Just had to think about Nichelle Nichels again haha. Just kidding sweety.

Actually I have to start at 0:00 hours. We were still awake (don't know how.... right George.....) and... I was the first person to say Happy Birthday to Cyn :D . haha. After that we fell asleep very fast, I think. But we had an early wake up call because we should be leaving around 8am. I gave Cyn her birthdaycard with pinguins on it :D . When you open the card there's a spinning pinguin in it haha. I really loved the card and had to buy it for Cyn.

Around 8am we were leaving for Nijmegen. Today we wanted to go to the Efteling. joehoeeeee. It's been a while but and we really enjoyed it. First thing we wanted to do was "de droomvlucht". So George brought us to the Python. He did not understand us and thought we wanted to go to the roller coasters first. Ok first the roller coasters then. Gerry joined us in all of them. First the "Python", Then "de vliegende hollander" and "Pegasus". "Python" is going very fast and it's so cool. The people behind us started screaming and did not stop before the end. Gerry wanted to go into the "de vliegende hollander" so we did. Cyn filmed it all. First it was very dark and you only hear music until we go outside. I think the movie worked you fantastic. The "Pegasus" is a wooden roller coaster. It goes hard. It's like an old fashioned wooden roller coaster. I really enjoyed the ride, all 3 of them. After that Cyn and I started to get hungry and really needed to eat. So we bought something to eat. The moment we finished it all the little happy, and sometimes so annoying, schoolkids were sitting down so it was time for us to go. It was time for the "piraƱa". that's in the water and there is a big chance you get wet. Always great fun haha. Well I got wet. Not much but I did. But who cares. The weather was lovely so it will dry fast enough. Up to "de droomvlucht". A few years back I really did not like it but now I can enjoy it. Wonderful how they made it and it looks so deep (that's the reason I did not like it in the first place) After that we walked over to "la villa volta". I still love "la villa volta". I've been in it many times and every time it's fantastic over and over again. We really had a great time. After that we headed for the next roller coaster: "de vogelrock". So amazing, Cyn her mom joined us in everything... wow.... Cyn tried to film it all but it was to dark. You can here the music which they play in the ride but that's all. We wanted to go a second time. Gerry stayed behind and George, Cyn and I walked back into the line. Too bad it's only a short ride. After "de vogelrock" it was time for "carnavalfestival". After that I was hungry AGAIN. hihi. But first they wanted me to join them in "pagode". How I so not like that. It's so high... So I sat down and did not look over the edge. I made it... wow.... :D . After that I was even hungrier. I ordered some nasi with spice chicken and loved it. Bought Gerry and Cyn also something to eat. George did not want anything. I think that was about the last thing we did. We had seen everything and it was time to go home. We walked by some souvenirsshops but Cyn did not see anything I could buy for her for her birthday. I wanted to give her something because she will get her prezzie the 25th of May. She has to wait for that.

When we got back in Cuijk we had dinner at "Birsen" We ate shoarma there and loved it. I had a little menu, Gerry the a bigger menu and George and Cyn even a bigger than the bigger menu. Well I think Gerry had the normal menu and George and Cyn the big one. We all enjoyed it. When we got back home Cyn made an dvd for her mom with all the pictures and movies on it and after that George brought her home. Cyn and I were so tired we stayed at the attic. Me watching Star Trek Deep Space 9 and Cyn working on her blog.

But that night... Well, I think you all read that in my blog "guestroom".

Sweety: I hope you enjoyed your birthday and you look forward to your prezzie. It's gonna hurt a bit but hey.... don't think I have to tell you that. It's not your first haha. I enjoyed your birthday very much and I had a wonderful time.

*I wanted to post some pictures and maybe a movie with this all but Photobucket isn't working along with me so I guess I have to post those later on.*

Have a nice day everybody and I will be back.

Joyce

Birthday Weekend May 8-9, 2009

Hello everybody,

The next story I am going to tell you is about our birthdayweekend. Steph, Cyn and I wanted to celebrate it together since we all have the same friends and our birthday's are on the 4th (Steph and myself) and 11th of May. So that was the plan.

On Friday Kim and Steph were coming over already. In the afternoon we wanted to do the grocery shopping for the weekend. So Albert Heijn, Makro and Lidl it was. After the shopping it was time to eat. Cyn made her super delicious pasta and we all enjoyed it very much. Before the shopping we exchanged the prezzies we had for each other. Steph gave us a WII game of Disney. It's like Buzz but only with Disney questions. Kim gave us a yummy pack. There was alot inside Cyn and I can enjoy. We gave Steph her Teddybear and T-shirt we ordered for her from "River Dance". The thing we are taking her too in December for her birthday.

After dinner we played the WII Disney game and we all enjoyed it very much. After 12 it was time to go to bed because around 10 am the next morning Sjak will be there with the cake.

The next morning Sjak was there together with her husband and son Thomas. Chance loved Thomas and before Thomas knew he was sitting on his behind because Chance jumped against him. They would be leaving soon because they went to Breda to buy Thomas his birthdayprezzie. Sjak would be back later on.

We played a lot of games during the afternoon as in only 1 game. The Disney game Steph bought us for our birthday. :D . I really, really, really enjoyed it. When we were having dinner I was playing it alone because all the others wanted to eat. Halfway the afternoon Sjak returned and played along. Cyn had made all different kinds of shots and wow... they were lovely. Only the pure rum hit me hard in the face but wow... I think I can fly... We started to get so drunk haha. After playing some games and having dinner (soup with bread and salads) Sjak left for home again. We kept on playing and drinking and after Cyn her parents arrived. They also had some lovely cake Sjak made and enjoyed it. after a while we started a movie. Can't remember which one. I think it's Hard Spy but I am not sure. The time pasted by so fast that before we knew it, it was over midnight already. We went for bed around 3am. I am surprised I could find our bed haha. But we made it and I slept very good and.... we could sleep long as in very long. We had our brunch the next morning around 12 and nobody was in a hurry so we enjoyed it every second. We had our brunch in the garden where the sun was shining. After brunch we played a game of Buzz on the PS3 and after that it was time for Steph, Kim and Yvonne to leave. We said our goodbyes and after they left we grabbed our stuff and Chance and headed to the Maas. Chance loves swimming. But.... we don't like other dogs bumping on her. She starts to smell nice again and all the other dogs wants to take her.... not again!!! It started on Friday when we took Brutus with us. He kept on trying to take Chance but he did not succeed happily. Then the dogs at the Maas. I think I should call the Doc for changing the date for her operation.

But we had a great, great weekend and I really enjoyed it.
I hope you all enjoyed reading it.

With love

Per Gessle live @ A'dam

Hello everybody,

After last nights blog I fell asleep. Well... A little bit later then that. Around 4 am to wake up again at 5.50 for a toilet break.

I am going to write alot today but let's start with:

Per Gessle live @ A'dam on the 6th of May 2009.

Photobucket

On Wednesday morning Cyn had to go to work for half a day. She took me with her to Nijmegen. I should wait for her at her parents place. I took my PSP with me and my new game which I got for my B-day from Cyn. It's called Silverfall. I really enjoyed the game and played it all the time. Until George came back. He dropped Cyn at work and me there and wanted to pick us up again when we got back from the concert. Around 12.30 hrs. I walked towards de Super de Boer where Cyn works. I had to buy some drinks and candy for on the way. When I was waiting in front of the shop a lot of schoolkids were entering the shop. When a small group walked out Hans (Cyn her chef) followed them. Asking one of them if he had payed for the can of cola he had in his pocket. The guy said that he put it away somewhere in the shop. Hans wanted him to show it. In the end the guy was sitting in the office because he stole it. That was around 1pm. Cyn and Anika were finished for the day and waved to Hans and Michiel that they went. I told Cyn what happened while we were waiting for the bus. On the trainstation we had to run to get the train but we made it. We would be half an hour earlier now. But we had to change trains at Utrecht Central Station. We thought we had to run because we arrived at station 7 and our next train was leaving within 2 minutes on station 5. But.... In the end there was no station 6 and 5 was next to 7 so we made it easily. Also a very good thing was that we had 1st clas tickets. The chairs were sitting very comfy. Around 2.30 hrs we arrived at Amsterdam Central Station. It was my first time in Amsterdam and wow.... What a lot of people are there. The streets are full of people all the time. Cyn showed me some shops while we walked towards Leidseplein. The Melkweg (where the concert was held) was close by there. We also walked through the Kalverstraat. Again damn what a lot of people. After a lot of searching (lijnbaangracht had 3 streets in total different places) we finally found The Melkweg. There were people in line already so we decided to join them. We had seen a McDo close by so I bought some food there and together we waited and ate something. We were standing there since 4pm and the doors would open around 8pm. So we were standing there a long time and still no sign of Eva and Iwan. People were pushing alot already so Cyn walked over to security and showed her hip-card. Told them what was happening already outside and they told her she could walk in earlier with 1 friend. Cyn also told this to the girl in the wheelchair. Finally, around 6.30pm Eva and Iwan joined us. We told them that we could go earlier but that we would try to hold them places A few minutes before time we walked in and after a while we could walk further. I thought I was smart and bought some T-shirts already for the 2 of us.When I paid the man I had to run because I saw all the others running towards the security guy inside. I was right on time to help Cyn holding places but Eva and Iwan did not make it. Everybody was pushing so damn hard. There was even a guy who put his elbow in Cyn her side so I gave him a hard push and told him to fuck off. Idiot. I was so angry at him. He walked away and we were standing in front of Per his mic on the first line. We did a pretty good job there. We really enjoyed his concert. It started with a guy called Martinique. The first 2 songs were ok but later on I did not like it. After Martinique it was Per his turn and wow.... What amazing. He was jumping, singing, playing. I could sing almost everything along.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Per also send some guitar chips our way and 1 of those landed a few centimer away from me but I could not grab it. Cyn told me to put her jacket and the bag on top of it so I did. This one is ours...we thought. There was a stupid Marie look a like who called for security and told the guy that there was a guital chip under HER jacket. Damn her.... That was Cyn her jacket...... But we weren't beaten yet. We still had the envelope in our bag for the traintickets so Cyn wrote a message to Per, asking him to put one in her cap. Per did not see it, but Helena did. She grabbed a few and send them our way. 1 on Cyn her shoulder and 1 in her cap... Yes.... On the other side of the envelope she wrote: thank you Helena. When she saw it she gave her the tumbs up haha. So cool. There was also a very special guest. The one and only: Marie Fredikson! Joehoeeee. This was so wonderfull. It was my first concert and the first time I saw them on stage together. I really enjoyed it. They really are partycrashers haha.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

It all went by so fast. It was over before we knew it. After the concert Per would come over to sign our stuff. The only question was where.....The other bandmembers walked around so one by one they could sign Cyn her CD. For Per we had to....(you never never guess...) queue Whoohooo haha. Per signed our CD and after that we headed for the Tram to bring us to Amsterdam Central Station.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

We had the last train towards Nijmegen and there was no train driving to Cuijk so we had to call Geo, asking him to pick us up at Nijmegen. He was angry because it was 2.30am and we had to go home earlier and he only wanted to pick us up at Cuijk. Blablabla.

After a long day we were finally back home. It was 4am before we lay in bed. Cyn had to go to work tomorrow morning. I wished she could sleep in. She needs it. But well... She managed, like always. That's my girl. I love you sweety.

Xxx

guestroom

Hello everybody,

Lying here awake in the guestroom. Don't want to wake up anybody because of my throught isn't working propperly. There's something in there and I can't get it out. Lying awake for a few hours already I thought I should start this blog.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with Quantore again. I have to look on my best for this. I think I will need a very warm bath so I can sweat it all out. And I want to steam a bit.

Yesterday before going to bed I watched a few episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9 and I cannot stop thinking about it. Fantastic that kiss Odo and Kira shared and I think they are making process in the war against the Dominion. It's a nice thought that I met a few of them already. They are all so nice.

I think I should try to get some sleep. Getting extremily tired now.

Efteling

Hello everybody,

We are in the Efteling now. Queueing AGAIN...... I start to think that life is queueing all the time Anywhere and everywhere you are. We are made for queueing. That's because we can stand on our 2 legs instead of hands and feets. Standing on our 2 legs takes less space than 4. Ok.... Back to the efteling. You can see it's early in the season and it's Monday. There are only schools here and older people who took a day off.

Will a post a blog about the Efteling soon. But first I will typ something about Per Gessle concert and last weekend That is in my next blog.

TTFN!

4th of May - my B-day

Here am I again. Just posted the last day of FedCon 18 and now it's time for the story of the 4th of May which is my birthday. I had to get up early again because we had to be in Nijmegen at 8.30hrs. Cyn her parents had a surprice for me for my birthday. But first I received my prezzies from Cyn. I so loved them. On Friday she already gave me 1 prezzie. The book Death's Daughter of Amber Benson. Now I got a PS3 game named: Devil May Cry, a PSP game named: Silverfall, A SCI muck which she bought in Movie World and a PS3 eye cam. :D . I am really happy with those prezzies.

When we arrived in Nijmegen I received my prezzie from Cyn her parents: A PS3 game named: Singstar Queen. So now we can sing along with Queen. After everybody was ready we took the car to I don't know where. Well.. Then I did not know. Turned out they took us to Emmen Zoo. The weather was (still) nice. there was a wooden penguin and Cyn made a picture of me and the penguin. First we saw all the penguins and they were sooo cute and funny. Emmen Zoo has 2 parts. First we saw the smallest part which they are still building. After the smallest part we had to walk a bit to arrive at the largest part of the Zoo. We took the Zoo Route so we could see everything. Half way we ate some soup and a roll with a croquette and a paper cup with cola/Ice tea. The butterfly garden was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. The monkeys and Siberian Tiger were also beautiful. They deadheads monkeys were very close by. You could almost touch them. The most funny thing of the day was that all animals were having the spring in their heads. They all were busy for new ofspring haha. We took alot of pictures but I don't have them on my laptop so I cannot post any yet. I am sorry for that people.

We took the whole tour and I loved it. After we saw everything we walked back to the car and drove back home. I am happy that I had my phone because it almost was a deadman's ride. Next time, hopefully, somebody else is driving. We ate fries at Cyn her parents place and after that we headed back home. Cyn and I sat down on the attic. Both busy with our computer/laptop. While I was busy with my laptop I watched a few other episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9.

That was my birthday. I got a lot of lovely prezzies. Now it's waiting for Wednesday: Per Gessle Live in Amsterdam :D.

Cheers,

Joyce

Sunday - FedCon 18

Hello everybody,

I wanted to tell you the story of the last day earlier but I just could not find the time to typ it down for you guys. Now I just finished with my preparations for this weekend and sat down on the couch to tell you the last part. Chance is lying next to me on her blanket. She always want to be close by.

On Sunday we had to get up early. And because we went to bed very late we did not get much sleep. After putting some other close on and putting our stuff in bags we went downstairs for some very lovely breakfast. We had fresh bread, eyes, tea and juice. After we filled our tummies it was time to go already. But first we had to put our stuff in the car since we had to check our before 12. We asked if it was ok to let our car in the parkinglot and that was no problem. after that we walked to the Ubahn and bought our tickets. (since we used our tickets from Friday on Saturday we had to buy new ones. But who cares. On the Ubahn station we saw Sandra already. The 3 of us took the 16 to Telekom station and from there we had to walk to the Maritim Hotel where FedCon was held. When we walked in there was a big, big queue already. Cyn and Sandra waited in line and I walked to the front to see if maybe Imanuel was already there. Happy for us he was and the guy was standing almost in the front of the line sooooooo.... We walked over and joined him. We gave Imanuel our picture for Nichelle because we would to the queue for the autographs in the Holerdeck and Imanuel would be queueing in the line for Nichelle Nichels. When they opened the doors we ran too the place where we had to be. Cyn and I were first in line :D . Joehoeeeee. In the queue we decided that it's was a good idea to buy a picture of Christofer Judge. So many people were crazy about him and we still had to see Stargate so I run to the front of it all to buy a picture. When I looked up the the second floor where the queue for Nichelle was, I saw that Imanuel was also standing in the front of the line. I made a picture of it :D . When I got back Cyn walked over to Imanuel to ask him something. She told me that there was 1 person in front of him but that he/she only wanted to ask something. So that makes him first. After an hour there was a big line standing for the Holerdeck, and we were first. Damn that feels good after yesterday. Around 10am they opened the room and we could walk in after the gold cards. First we ran over to Nana because we had so much for her and in this way we had plenty of time :D . First of all we gave her the "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

These are dangerous she told us haha. She already new them and loves them so that was a good treat. After that she signed Cyn her back, the picture from the photoshoot, another picture and the picture for Eileen. Cyn told her that the picture they made earlier did not go well because Nana looked away and asked for a new one. Nana agreed and now we had a joined picture with Nana.

Photobucket Photobucket

After our great time with Nana we joined the queue for Christofer Judge. He is a nice guy and I really like his smile. He also got "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

The next queue was for Summer Glau. You can see her in Serenity, Firefly and The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Summer posed with her "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

After Summer Glau there was Erin Gray. Such a wonderfull woman. She was so nice and we had a little chat with her. She also liked the "stroopwafels and took a bite of it right away.

Photobucket

after this we went over to Michael Hogan and asked him if he could join us for a picture since we had pictures with them together (James and Michael) but not alone. He agreed and walked over to us.

Photobucket

James was sitting next to us and we also asked him for a picture. There was a guy in front of us and he had to pay 20€uro's for his picture. Cyn had the great idea to ask him if he like the "stroopwafels". Since he agreed she asked him if he wanted the last "stroopwafels" we had for a picture together. Again he agreed.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

The last picture we made was with the happy couple Bonnie and John:

Photobucket

After this we left the room with a damn good feeling. It was time to go and find Imanuel which was a hard job. We looked everywhere. Finally we found him on the second floor. Together we collected our pictures of the photosessions and went for the mainbridge to watch some panels. When we walked in Dominic Keating was having his panel. We sat down and enjoyed, as in really enjoyed. the guy is so funny.

Photobucket Photobucket

In the second picture they wrote down his name wrongly. They wrote Dominik instead of Dominic.

We also saw the panel of the people of Eureka and Summer Glau and Jonathan Woodward, Mark Sheppard and Battlestar Galactica. After that is was time for the Star Trek Panel with Nichelle Nichels, Nana Visitor, Robert Picardo and a few others. This was the panel we have been waiting for and we really enjoyed it. We ate a few bags of chips since there was no time for eating.

Photobucket Photobucket
Photobucket Photobucket

After this panel we had to wait for a while. Imanuel and Cyn went for some more drinks and chips and Imanuel wanted to put his back in his car. After a while Cyn came back but there was no Imanuel Where the hell was he. When we got home we found out he lost his ticket and went home angry because they didn't let him enter the convention anymore. But at FedCon we were still wondering where he was because he was still not there when the End Ceremony started. I went to the front to make a lot of pictures. After a while I walked back and told Cyn to come too. She said no but later on she was sitting on the ground behind me. The Ceremony was great and again everybody loved Nichelle her speech. It's such a wonderfull woman. What a power!!!! But first they started with a singing Max Grodenchik followed by a singing Robert Picardo. Fantastic!!! really. John also had something for us: his jeans which he weared the whole weekend. Bonnie told him from the balcony to make sure that the other one stayed on and clean because this was the last spare one he had. haha. Those two are so damn funny.

Here are some pictures of the end ceremony:

After the end ceremony it was time for us to take the U-bahn back to the hotel and there take the car back to the Netherlands. It was time to go home. This weekend past by so fast!!!!!! poor us. I really enjoyed it and we are looking forward to next year. We already booked rooms and tickets for next year. So I am already looking forward to that.
