Per Gessle live @ A'dam

Hello everybody,

After last nights blog I fell asleep. Well... A little bit later then that. Around 4 am to wake up again at 5.50 for a toilet break.

I am going to write alot today but let's start with:

Per Gessle live @ A'dam on the 6th of May 2009.

Photobucket

On Wednesday morning Cyn had to go to work for half a day. She took me with her to Nijmegen. I should wait for her at her parents place. I took my PSP with me and my new game which I got for my B-day from Cyn. It's called Silverfall. I really enjoyed the game and played it all the time. Until George came back. He dropped Cyn at work and me there and wanted to pick us up again when we got back from the concert. Around 12.30 hrs. I walked towards de Super de Boer where Cyn works. I had to buy some drinks and candy for on the way. When I was waiting in front of the shop a lot of schoolkids were entering the shop. When a small group walked out Hans (Cyn her chef) followed them. Asking one of them if he had payed for the can of cola he had in his pocket. The guy said that he put it away somewhere in the shop. Hans wanted him to show it. In the end the guy was sitting in the office because he stole it. That was around 1pm. Cyn and Anika were finished for the day and waved to Hans and Michiel that they went. I told Cyn what happened while we were waiting for the bus. On the trainstation we had to run to get the train but we made it. We would be half an hour earlier now. But we had to change trains at Utrecht Central Station. We thought we had to run because we arrived at station 7 and our next train was leaving within 2 minutes on station 5. But.... In the end there was no station 6 and 5 was next to 7 so we made it easily. Also a very good thing was that we had 1st clas tickets. The chairs were sitting very comfy. Around 2.30 hrs we arrived at Amsterdam Central Station. It was my first time in Amsterdam and wow.... What a lot of people are there. The streets are full of people all the time. Cyn showed me some shops while we walked towards Leidseplein. The Melkweg (where the concert was held) was close by there. We also walked through the Kalverstraat. Again damn what a lot of people. After a lot of searching (lijnbaangracht had 3 streets in total different places) we finally found The Melkweg. There were people in line already so we decided to join them. We had seen a McDo close by so I bought some food there and together we waited and ate something. We were standing there since 4pm and the doors would open around 8pm. So we were standing there a long time and still no sign of Eva and Iwan. People were pushing alot already so Cyn walked over to security and showed her hip-card. Told them what was happening already outside and they told her she could walk in earlier with 1 friend. Cyn also told this to the girl in the wheelchair. Finally, around 6.30pm Eva and Iwan joined us. We told them that we could go earlier but that we would try to hold them places A few minutes before time we walked in and after a while we could walk further. I thought I was smart and bought some T-shirts already for the 2 of us.When I paid the man I had to run because I saw all the others running towards the security guy inside. I was right on time to help Cyn holding places but Eva and Iwan did not make it. Everybody was pushing so damn hard. There was even a guy who put his elbow in Cyn her side so I gave him a hard push and told him to fuck off. Idiot. I was so angry at him. He walked away and we were standing in front of Per his mic on the first line. We did a pretty good job there. We really enjoyed his concert. It started with a guy called Martinique. The first 2 songs were ok but later on I did not like it. After Martinique it was Per his turn and wow.... What amazing. He was jumping, singing, playing. I could sing almost everything along.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Per also send some guitar chips our way and 1 of those landed a few centimer away from me but I could not grab it. Cyn told me to put her jacket and the bag on top of it so I did. This one is ours...we thought. There was a stupid Marie look a like who called for security and told the guy that there was a guital chip under HER jacket. Damn her.... That was Cyn her jacket...... But we weren't beaten yet. We still had the envelope in our bag for the traintickets so Cyn wrote a message to Per, asking him to put one in her cap. Per did not see it, but Helena did. She grabbed a few and send them our way. 1 on Cyn her shoulder and 1 in her cap... Yes.... On the other side of the envelope she wrote: thank you Helena. When she saw it she gave her the tumbs up haha. So cool. There was also a very special guest. The one and only: Marie Fredikson! Joehoeeee. This was so wonderfull. It was my first concert and the first time I saw them on stage together. I really enjoyed it. They really are partycrashers haha.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

It all went by so fast. It was over before we knew it. After the concert Per would come over to sign our stuff. The only question was where.....The other bandmembers walked around so one by one they could sign Cyn her CD. For Per we had to....(you never never guess...) queue Whoohooo haha. Per signed our CD and after that we headed for the Tram to bring us to Amsterdam Central Station.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

We had the last train towards Nijmegen and there was no train driving to Cuijk so we had to call Geo, asking him to pick us up at Nijmegen. He was angry because it was 2.30am and we had to go home earlier and he only wanted to pick us up at Cuijk. Blablabla.

After a long day we were finally back home. It was 4am before we lay in bed. Cyn had to go to work tomorrow morning. I wished she could sleep in. She needs it. But well... She managed, like always. That's my girl. I love you sweety.

guestroom

Hello everybody,

Lying here awake in the guestroom. Don't want to wake up anybody because of my throught isn't working propperly. There's something in there and I can't get it out. Lying awake for a few hours already I thought I should start this blog.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with Quantore again. I have to look on my best for this. I think I will need a very warm bath so I can sweat it all out. And I want to steam a bit.

Yesterday before going to bed I watched a few episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9 and I cannot stop thinking about it. Fantastic that kiss Odo and Kira shared and I think they are making process in the war against the Dominion. It's a nice thought that I met a few of them already. They are all so nice.

I think I should try to get some sleep. Getting extremily tired now.

With love

Efteling

Hello everybody,

We are in the Efteling now. Queueing AGAIN...... I start to think that life is queueing all the time Anywhere and everywhere you are. We are made for queueing. That's because we can stand on our 2 legs instead of hands and feets. Standing on our 2 legs takes less space than 4. Ok.... Back to the efteling. You can see it's early in the season and it's Monday. There are only schools here and older people who took a day off.

Will a post a blog about the Efteling soon. But first I will typ something about Per Gessle concert and last weekend That is in my next blog.

TTFN!

4th of May - my B-day

Here am I again. Just posted the last day of FedCon 18 and now it's time for the story of the 4th of May which is my birthday. I had to get up early again because we had to be in Nijmegen at 8.30hrs. Cyn her parents had a surprice for me for my birthday. But first I received my prezzies from Cyn. I so loved them. On Friday she already gave me 1 prezzie. The book Death's Daughter of Amber Benson. Now I got a PS3 game named: Devil May Cry, a PSP game named: Silverfall, A SCI muck which she bought in Movie World and a PS3 eye cam. :D . I am really happy with those prezzies.

When we arrived in Nijmegen I received my prezzie from Cyn her parents: A PS3 game named: Singstar Queen. So now we can sing along with Queen. After everybody was ready we took the car to I don't know where. Well.. Then I did not know. Turned out they took us to Emmen Zoo. The weather was (still) nice. there was a wooden penguin and Cyn made a picture of me and the penguin. First we saw all the penguins and they were sooo cute and funny. Emmen Zoo has 2 parts. First we saw the smallest part which they are still building. After the smallest part we had to walk a bit to arrive at the largest part of the Zoo. We took the Zoo Route so we could see everything. Half way we ate some soup and a roll with a croquette and a paper cup with cola/Ice tea. The butterfly garden was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. The monkeys and Siberian Tiger were also beautiful. They deadheads monkeys were very close by. You could almost touch them. The most funny thing of the day was that all animals were having the spring in their heads. They all were busy for new ofspring haha. We took alot of pictures but I don't have them on my laptop so I cannot post any yet. I am sorry for that people.

We took the whole tour and I loved it. After we saw everything we walked back to the car and drove back home. I am happy that I had my phone because it almost was a deadman's ride. Next time, hopefully, somebody else is driving. We ate fries at Cyn her parents place and after that we headed back home. Cyn and I sat down on the attic. Both busy with our computer/laptop. While I was busy with my laptop I watched a few other episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9.

That was my birthday. I got a lot of lovely prezzies. Now it's waiting for Wednesday: Per Gessle Live in Amsterdam :D.

Cheers,

Joyce

Sunday - FedCon 18

Hello everybody,

I wanted to tell you the story of the last day earlier but I just could not find the time to typ it down for you guys. Now I just finished with my preparations for this weekend and sat down on the couch to tell you the last part. Chance is lying next to me on her blanket. She always want to be close by.

On Sunday we had to get up early. And because we went to bed very late we did not get much sleep. After putting some other close on and putting our stuff in bags we went downstairs for some very lovely breakfast. We had fresh bread, eyes, tea and juice. After we filled our tummies it was time to go already. But first we had to put our stuff in the car since we had to check our before 12. We asked if it was ok to let our car in the parkinglot and that was no problem. after that we walked to the Ubahn and bought our tickets. (since we used our tickets from Friday on Saturday we had to buy new ones. But who cares. On the Ubahn station we saw Sandra already. The 3 of us took the 16 to Telekom station and from there we had to walk to the Maritim Hotel where FedCon was held. When we walked in there was a big, big queue already. Cyn and Sandra waited in line and I walked to the front to see if maybe Imanuel was already there. Happy for us he was and the guy was standing almost in the front of the line sooooooo.... We walked over and joined him. We gave Imanuel our picture for Nichelle because we would to the queue for the autographs in the Holerdeck and Imanuel would be queueing in the line for Nichelle Nichels. When they opened the doors we ran too the place where we had to be. Cyn and I were first in line :D . Joehoeeeee. In the queue we decided that it's was a good idea to buy a picture of Christofer Judge. So many people were crazy about him and we still had to see Stargate so I run to the front of it all to buy a picture. When I looked up the the second floor where the queue for Nichelle was, I saw that Imanuel was also standing in the front of the line. I made a picture of it :D . When I got back Cyn walked over to Imanuel to ask him something. She told me that there was 1 person in front of him but that he/she only wanted to ask something. So that makes him first. After an hour there was a big line standing for the Holerdeck, and we were first. Damn that feels good after yesterday. Around 10am they opened the room and we could walk in after the gold cards. First we ran over to Nana because we had so much for her and in this way we had plenty of time :D . First of all we gave her the "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

These are dangerous she told us haha. She already new them and loves them so that was a good treat. After that she signed Cyn her back, the picture from the photoshoot, another picture and the picture for Eileen. Cyn told her that the picture they made earlier did not go well because Nana looked away and asked for a new one. Nana agreed and now we had a joined picture with Nana.

Photobucket Photobucket

After our great time with Nana we joined the queue for Christofer Judge. He is a nice guy and I really like his smile. He also got "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

The next queue was for Summer Glau. You can see her in Serenity, Firefly and The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Summer posed with her "stroopwafels".

Photobucket

After Summer Glau there was Erin Gray. Such a wonderfull woman. She was so nice and we had a little chat with her. She also liked the "stroopwafels and took a bite of it right away.

Photobucket

after this we went over to Michael Hogan and asked him if he could join us for a picture since we had pictures with them together (James and Michael) but not alone. He agreed and walked over to us.

Photobucket

James was sitting next to us and we also asked him for a picture. There was a guy in front of us and he had to pay 20€uro's for his picture. Cyn had the great idea to ask him if he like the "stroopwafels". Since he agreed she asked him if he wanted the last "stroopwafels" we had for a picture together. Again he agreed.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

The last picture we made was with the happy couple Bonnie and John:

Photobucket

After this we left the room with a damn good feeling. It was time to go and find Imanuel which was a hard job. We looked everywhere. Finally we found him on the second floor. Together we collected our pictures of the photosessions and went for the mainbridge to watch some panels. When we walked in Dominic Keating was having his panel. We sat down and enjoyed, as in really enjoyed. the guy is so funny.

Photobucket Photobucket

In the second picture they wrote down his name wrongly. They wrote Dominik instead of Dominic.

We also saw the panel of the people of Eureka and Summer Glau and Jonathan Woodward, Mark Sheppard and Battlestar Galactica. After that is was time for the Star Trek Panel with Nichelle Nichels, Nana Visitor, Robert Picardo and a few others. This was the panel we have been waiting for and we really enjoyed it. We ate a few bags of chips since there was no time for eating.

Photobucket Photobucket
Photobucket Photobucket

After this panel we had to wait for a while. Imanuel and Cyn went for some more drinks and chips and Imanuel wanted to put his back in his car. After a while Cyn came back but there was no Imanuel Where the hell was he. When we got home we found out he lost his ticket and went home angry because they didn't let him enter the convention anymore. But at FedCon we were still wondering where he was because he was still not there when the End Ceremony started. I went to the front to make a lot of pictures. After a while I walked back and told Cyn to come too. She said no but later on she was sitting on the ground behind me. The Ceremony was great and again everybody loved Nichelle her speech. It's such a wonderfull woman. What a power!!!! But first they started with a singing Max Grodenchik followed by a singing Robert Picardo. Fantastic!!! really. John also had something for us: his jeans which he weared the whole weekend. Bonnie told him from the balcony to make sure that the other one stayed on and clean because this was the last spare one he had. haha. Those two are so damn funny.

Here are some pictures of the end ceremony:

After the end ceremony it was time for us to take the U-bahn back to the hotel and there take the car back to the Netherlands. It was time to go home. This weekend past by so fast!!!!!! poor us. I really enjoyed it and we are looking forward to next year. We already booked rooms and tickets for next year. So I am already looking forward to that.

FedCon 18 - Saturday

Hey everybody,

Yesterday in the car I started a blog which I did not finish so I will copy/past it here and finish it right away.

Enjoy!!!!

Nichelle Nicols

Hello everybody,

I am sitting in the car back home from Emmen Zoo right now. It's Monday the 4th right now which means it's my birthday. But I'm not there yet. First I have to finish the FedCon storie.

On Saturday morning after Cyn kicked me into the bathroom we had a very needed breakfast. We ate alot since we were so damn hungry. This is because we just did not have the time to eat on Friday. After the damn lovely breakfast we left our hotel for the Ubahn. We wanted to use that one because walking was a bit too far for us. When we got there it was already crowded with people but we were almost first in line for entering FedCon. At 9 the convention was opened again. First thing we needed to do war run run run upstairs to queue for the photosessions with Max Grodénchik and Nana Visitor. First it was Max his turn and when he arrived he first walked over to us and we all called MOOGIE!!!!! Haha. He told us that it sounded very good. Whoohoo! Than he asked someone if he would be at his panel which was answered as: yes and you? Haha. We were first in line. Taking the picture was so cool. It was nice to see Max and he is so little haha. You can see at his face he is just the perfect person to play Rom haha. He is so funny. After the picture it was time to queue for Nana Visitor. Here we weren't first in line but who cares. We were almost first haha. And wow... Nana is so tall!! Haha. Again we had a great great time. Now we saw Robert Picardo had a photoshoot and we also queued for this session. It wasn't in our plans but well..... He was here and we were.... Haha. We were standing around the corner this time but.... We made it. Just a few people before us was a man so damn tall. He had to be over the 2 meters. The guy taking the pictures grabbed a box for Robert to stand on for the because so he had around the same height. Haha that was funny to see and everybody clapt haha. After Robert Picardo it was Christofer Judge his turn and we did not join this one because it was just to damn long.

Joyce, Max Grodénchik & Cynthia

We now wanted to know when Nichelle would be signing pictures. She made such a big and good impression to us that we just needed to at her to the list with autographs and pictures. They told us that they did not know and we had to return within an hour. So we walked to another room where the people of battlestar were signing. We joined the long long queue and waited for our turn. We had a great time talking with James Callis. Edward J. Olmos and Michael Hogan. They all 3 loved the "stroopwafels" and were happy with them. When we got all 3 of the signatures it was an hour later.

Photobucket

We went to the information desk againd for asking where Nichelle would be signing and the send us up. She would be signing somewhere upstairs in a seprate room. So we walked up the stairs and looked around. We could not find anything. We asked somebody there and she send us down again. So we went down and found a place with a sign that she would be signing there around 12.30h. So we joined that queue. Almost first. 3 persons in front of us. A man walked over and told us that she would be signing only stuff bought from that store. Ridiculous!!! I could not believe that so I run over to the informationdesk and told the story. They told me that they did not know anything about that and that it wasn't true. So I walked back and we stayed in the queue. A few minutes later heard the same guy telling that story to a dutch guy and I told that guy the story of what the people at the information desk had told me and that's how we met Imanuel. At 12.30h Nichelle arrived at the table and began to sign. We were lucky to get our picture signed and we gave here a dutch "stroopwafel". We were giving them to all the acteurs. Imanuel wasn't as lucky as us and when he put down his picture they told him no. She was only signing bought stuff from the storie. Her bodyguard was telling him that It wasn't Nichelle her choice. He was quiet angry about that. After Nichelle signed our picture we ran upstairs to queue again (schlange hier, schlange dort, schlange überall!). It was almost time for the photosession with Nichelle Nicels. We were almost standing at the stairs already. We waited for a long long long time but finally it was our turn and 2 wonderfull pictures were made. Nichelle enjoyed every minute of it. After the picture with Nichelle we wanted to get our other stuff signed so we needed to enter the "holerdeck" for this. Again the queue was damn long. We were standing almost at the end of the building (150meter approx.). Since we were standing close by the bar we decided it was time for a beer. I walked over to the bar and bought 2. There we saw Imanuel again. He joined us and we found Jens and Sandra again (2 others who we met on Friday).

Photobucket
*from left to right it's: Sandra, Cynthia, Imanuel, Jens*

We talked and talked and talked and waited for 2 hours. Cyn and I were gone for a little while so we could collect our pictures of Jeffrey Combs and Marc Alaimo. We saw there was not much to do at their tables so we walked over and asked them how they were doing and got Cyn her bag signed. We showed the the pictures and the loved them so much the signed them for us. When we got back we waited for a little while and finally it was almost our turn but..... A I-am-so-good-I-am-wearing-a-pink-shirt guy came over and rudely told us that we had to come back tomorrow because our numbers were to high (when I came back from signing the sign was not standing there). We were so angry we walked over to the informationdesk and told our story. The person over there, Dagmar, told us to come over to her tomorrow and that she would walk to the queue and put is in front. We agreed and the 3 of us (Cyn, Imanuel and I) took the stairs to the second floor again because Nichelle was signing pictures again. So we joined all the others and Cyn and I went for a next beer while Imanuel was waiting in the queue. When we came back the queue was closed. No signed picture today. This was the 3rd time he was rejected and he started to get real agry. The 3 of us went to queue for the picture with Edward J. Olmos and Michael Hogan. There was a line standing for Summer Glau and a small group was already waiting for Eddy and Michael. But between our photosession and Summer Glau her photosessions was another session with a guy from Eureka. So in the end there were 3 queues and the hall was full of people. But it all worked out and we got our pictures.

Joyce, Nichelle Nicols, Cynthia

Now our stomachs were telling us that they needed some food so we headed too the Ubahn again. We took the Ubahn to the city center and sat down at the "pizzahut". We ordered 1.5liter pull beer and 3 panpizza's. We really enjoyed them and we were feeling human again. The food did us all good. After that we headed back to the Ubahn and found out that "Rijn am Flammen" a big, big event was for a lot of young people. The Ubahn was really crowded and even more people wanted to enter at the next stations. They were all wearing 6packs of beer. Instead of a chihuahua everybody is wearing 6packs beer. We have to remember that.... haha.

Photobucket
*At the Ubahn*

Photobucket
*At pizzahut*

When we were back at our Ubahn station we walked (with the rest of the many, many people) towards the Hotel. But only we and some others were entering. All the others headed for the place where Rijn am Flammen was held. Back at FedCon we walked around a bit but there wasn't much to do anymore so we headed for some seats and sat there with another beer. Later on we walked over to the pianobar and sat down there. I was feeling cold and in there it was a little bit warmer. That night there were a lot of people. We saw Mark Sheppard and asked him if he could join us for another picture because he was looking angry at the previous one. He told us to catch up with him later because he had a panel now. So we sat down again and enjoyed our cocktails.

Photobucket

But we did not see Mark Sheppard anymore so maybe tomorrow then. We did see some other girls and joined them for a dance. When we headed to the toilet we met Marco. A guy we did see a few times but never sad hi to. Now he did and we talked a bit. We went outside for some fresh air and decided it was time to go home because it was very late already (almost 1am) and we needed to be back at FedCon early next morning. So we all walked to the Ubahn station and headed back to our hotels. Cyn and I both took a shower and went to bed. We were so damn tired.....

Photobucket

So that's what happened on Saturday. In a next post I will tell you everything about Sunday and Monday (my birthday)

See ya all later

A first impression of FedCon

Hello all of you,

It's now Saturday around 7.15 in the morning. We will be having breakfast very soon now and then we have to "run" for our transport to FedCon because we need to be there early for the pictures with Max Grodenchik and Nana Visitor (Rom and Maj. Kira). Yesterday was really wonderful. We met alot of people already and we had pictures with Jefrey Combs and Marc Alaimo (Weyoun and Gul Dukat). Furthermore we met Robert Picardo, Dominic Keating, John Billingsley, James Callis, Richard Hatch, Mark Sheppard and Jonathan Woodward. There was also a opening ceremony. And THAT was great. For a few pictures and a video watch Cyn her Blog post about it.

Cyn is now kicking me into the very smal bathroom so I can fix my jumpy hair for today because for a picture with Nana Visitor I have to look great.....

This is it for now folks

See you later!!!

Joyce
